These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your application to join, membership in, and interaction with Youth Liberal ("the Movement", "we", "us", "our") — an independent youth political movement based in India. By submitting a membership application or engaging with Youth Liberal in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not submit an application or participate in the Movement. These Terms are governed by the laws of India and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Section 01
Agreement to Terms
By submitting a membership application to Youth Liberal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules that Youth Liberal may issue from time to time.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Youth Liberal. Your continued participation in the Movement following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Section 02
About Youth Liberal
Youth Liberal is an independent, non-partisan youth political movement operating in India. We are not affiliated with any registered political party, government body, or commercial organisation. Our purpose is to advocate for youth rights, civic education, political transparency, and meaningful youth representation in public life.
Youth Liberal operates on a fully voluntary, non-commercial basis. Membership is free of charge and will remain so. The Movement does not generate revenue from members and does not accept paid advertising or commercial sponsorship.
Non-Affiliation Notice
Youth Liberal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any political party, government institution, or foreign entity. Views expressed through official Youth Liberal channels represent the position of the Movement only.
Section 03
Membership
Membership in Youth Liberal is obtained through an application and approval process. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. Youth Liberal reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.

Step 1
Application You submit the membership form with accurate, complete, and truthful information about yourself.

Review Youth Liberal's core team reviews your application. This may take up to 14 days. You may be contacted for additional information.

Step 3
Decision You will be notified of the outcome. Approved members gain access to internal movement communications and activities.
Membership is personal and non-transferable. You may not apply on behalf of another individual or use a false identity in your application. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate rejection or revocation of membership.
Membership carries no ownership interest, financial entitlement, or voting rights over Youth Liberal's organisational decisions unless explicitly granted by the core team.
Section 04
Eligibility
Youth Liberal welcomes members of all backgrounds. To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following conditions:

Condition A
Age You must be a young person. Members under the age of 18 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent, as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By submitting an application, members under 18 confirm that this consent has been obtained.

Condition B
Accuracy All information provided in your application must be accurate and truthful. You must not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your identity or affiliations.

Condition C
Intent You must apply with genuine intent to participate in Youth Liberal's mission. Applications submitted for the purpose of disruption, infiltration, or misuse will be rejected.

Condition D
Legal Capacity You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law. If you are a minor, these Terms are agreed to on your behalf by your parent or guardian.
Section 05
Member Conduct
As a member of Youth Liberal, you represent the Movement and are expected to uphold its values of dignity, honesty, and civic responsibility at all times — particularly when identifying yourself as a member in any online space.
Permitted
- Share official Youth Liberal content from authorised channels
- Engage in respectful civic debate and political discussion
- Advocate for the Movement's four demands in your personal capacity
- Report misconduct or violations to the core team
- Participate in movement activities you are invited to join
Prohibited
- Creating or publishing content that purports to be official Youth Liberal communication without authorisation
- Harassment, abuse, or intimidation of any individual online
- Spreading misinformation in the Movement's name
- Discriminatory language or conduct of any kind
- Any activity that violates Indian law or these Terms
Youth Liberal's official content is published only through verified official accounts. Members do not have authority to publish, post, or communicate on behalf of Youth Liberal unless explicitly authorised in writing by the core team. Any unauthorised representation of Youth Liberal may result in immediate removal and, where applicable, legal action.
Section 06
Content & Intellectual Property
All content published on this website and through official Youth Liberal channels — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, slogans, campaign materials, and design — is the intellectual property of Youth Liberal and is protected under applicable Indian copyright law.
You may share official Youth Liberal content for non-commercial, advocacy purposes, provided that you do not alter the content, remove attribution, or present it in a manner that misrepresents the Movement's position.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license, or exploit Youth Liberal's content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the core team.
Submissions & Ideas
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback to Youth Liberal through any channel, you grant Youth Liberal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, adapt, and implement those submissions without obligation to compensate you or credit you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Section 07
Termination of Membership
You may leave Youth Liberal at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 13. Upon your request, your membership will be ended and your personal data deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Youth Liberal reserves the right to suspend or revoke the membership of any individual who violates these Terms, engages in conduct contrary to the Movement's values, or whose continued membership is deemed detrimental to Youth Liberal or its members. We are currently developing a formal misconduct review process; in the interim, decisions will be made by the core team and communicated to the individual concerned.
Grounds for removal include, but are not limited to: providing false information in your application, harassment of other members or third parties, unauthorised use of the Youth Liberal name or branding, or conduct that brings the Movement into disrepute.
Removal from the Movement does not affect any legal obligations or liabilities that arose during your membership.

This website and all content published by Youth Liberal are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Youth Liberal makes no representations about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose.
Youth Liberal is a voluntary movement, not a professional legal, political, or advisory body. Nothing published on this website or communicated through movement channels constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice.
Youth Liberal does not guarantee that this website will be available at all times, free from errors, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Youth Liberal, its core team members, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website, your membership in the Movement, or your participation in any activities organised by Youth Liberal.
This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, loss of opportunity, reputational harm, or personal injury arising in connection with the Movement's online activities.
Youth Liberal is not responsible for the content of any external websites linked from this site, including Google's platforms, social media platforms, or third-party sources.
Section 10
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Youth Liberal and its core team members from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in connection with:

Section 11
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
Section 12
Changes to These Terms
Youth Liberal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued participation in the Movement following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may terminate your membership as described in Section 7.
